
DMB is a diversified real estate investment and development firm in San Benito County that is pursuing the construction of a master-planned community on 4500 acres in the northern part of the county. Its local team strives daily to listen to the residents of the community for input in the planning of El Rancho San Benito.
Ray Becker is Vice President, Entitlements.
Ray Becker is Vice President, Entitlement for DMB in San Benito. He is responsible for the planning and county processing of the ERSB project. Ray is a twenty-five-year veteran of the real estate development industry, and has managed the development of master-planned communities and many retail and industrial projects throughout Southern California's Riverside, San Bernardino, Orange and San Diego counties. Ray was elected the 2008 Chairman of the California Building Industry Association, an organization representing more that 7,000 homebuilding and related companies across California. He is also the President-elect of the San Juan Bautista Rotary Club. Ray and his wife, Martha, moved from Riverside to San Benito County in August of 2004. Martha, a second-generation Californian, is a professional entertainer and has toured internationally. In fact, Ray and Martha met in Tokyo, Japan! The Beckers have two grown children, who continue to live in Southern California
Kathy Johnson is the Director of Community Programs.
Kathy Johnson joined the DMB team in September 2005 as the Director of Community Development. A native of Minnesota, Kathy and her husband, Ron, moved to Hollister in November 2000. She has a master's degree in management with a concentration in organized philanthropy. Prior to joining DMB, Kathy ran a private consulting business assisting groups and individuals with their philanthropic endeavors. She also served as the Executive Director of the Celebration Foundation, Vice President of the Northland Foundation, and Deputy Director of the Arrowhead Regional Development Commission. Kathy has provided leadership in establishing several foundations and numerous nonprofit organizations. Locally, Kathy serves on the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce Board, the Community Foundation for San Benito County Board and volunteers for a variety of other nonprofit organizations.
Leilani Barnett is the entitlements project manager.
Leilani Barnett is the entitlements project manager for DMB in San Benito County. Prior to her work on El Rancho San Benito, she managed the development of numerous residential, mixed-use, and retail projects throughout Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, and Alameda Counties. Leilani has served on the Watsonville Planning Commission and grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a master's degree in City Planning from U.C. Berkeley and a B.A. from Brown University.
Denise Cauthen Wright is the Community Relations Manager.
Denise Cauthen Wright joined the DMB El Rancho San Benito Team July, 2007. As Community Relations Manager she brings with her many years of marketing experience and community involvement. Denise is a member of S.B.C. Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Hollister Rotary and serves on several committees such as American Cancer Society S.B.C. Leadership and Tourism. In 2004, she was named “Woman of the Year” by the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce. She is a California native and has lived in Hollister for 21 years. Her family includes her husband Dan, teenage daughter Danika and their dog Toto. Excited to be on board with us, she is adding to the success of our entitlement work through her efforts with the Gateway Partnership which is actively pursuing economic development opportunities that would benefit all of San Benito County.
Kim Boutelier is the General Manager.
Kim Boutelier is General Manager of El Rancho San Benito. He is responsible for guiding and directing the management and development of El Rancho San Benito. Kim is a thirty-four year veteran of the real estate development industry, and has managed the sales and development of master-planned communities throughout California as well as Florida and Colorado. Kim and his wife, Bernadette, have a daughter and two sons as well as two grand children.
Rod Meade is the Vice President for Regulatory Affairs.
Rod Meade is the Vice President for Regulatory Affairs. In this role Rod is responsible for working with regional, state and federal agencies that will be involved in reviewing and approving key components of the El Rancho San Benito project and for interacting with environmental organizations that are interested in the project. Rod joined the DMB Team in May of 2007 after more than 35 years experience working on large-scale public and private sectors planning and development programs in both the public and private sector. Prior to joining the DMB Team, Rod operated his own consulting firm for more than 27 years. This experience involved working with members of the public, regulatory agencies and environmental organizations to create large permanent natural reserve systems and contribute to formulating solutions that successfully addressed the protection of wetlands, riparian areas and sensitive species as part of large-scale community planning programs. Rod’s experience in the public-sector planning and resource management arenas included being retained as a land use consultant on the San Joaquin Valley Blueprint process, the Governor’s Delta Vision program, and serving as the Restoration Administrator representing the Settling Parties under the terms of a historic 18-year litigation Settlement that created the San Joaquin River Restoration Program. Rod is married with two grown children and two grandchildren. Rod commutes to San Benito County from the San Diego area.
Craig Page is the Director of Development.
Craig Page joined the DMB Team in January 2007 as the Director of Development and is responsible for the engineering and construction management of the project. He was born and raised in Southern California and has been in the engineering and land development business for 36 years. In addition to numerous projects in several Southern California Counties, he has also managed projects in the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay areas. Craig and his wife, Marjie, have two grown sons.
Gabby O'Donoghue performs key administrative functions.
Gabby O'Donoghue joined the team along with Kathy Johnson in September 2005 and continues to perform key administrative functions. She is a lifelong resident of Hollister and graduated from San Benito High School. Gabby is an inaugural graduate of Leadership San Benito County College.
Stacy Koontz is the team's Executive Assistant.
Stacy Koontz joined the team as an Executive Assistant in September 2006. She brings ten plus years of administrative experience with her. Stacy supports Ray Becker and Kim Boutelier in addition to providing administrative support for the office. Her professional background includes working for a mutual funds company, a leading publishing company and a major credit card organization. Stacy and her husband Sean live in Gilroy with their cats, horses and a variety of other creatures.
Ann Robson is the Office Manager.
Ann is the Office manager for DMB El Rancho San Benito. She is a long time resident of Hollister and has over 21 years of bank management, mortgage lending and administrative experience. Ann’s primary duty is to provide administrative support to the El Rancho San Benito team along with maintaining an efficient project office.
Katrina Kessler is the Records Coordinator.
Kathy Kessler, AKA Katrina Kessler is the team’s Records Coordinator. Her background includes previous experience in working with developers in Colorado, Florida and California, as well as over 30 years of administrative, property and office management experience. Her primary duties are to provide administrative support and coordinate the flow of records and documents. Kathy has lived in California for over 21 years and in Hollister for the past 8 years. Kathy has been married to her best friend and high school sweetheart, Dave, for 30 years. She has a son, Eric and a married daughter, Beth and her husband Joe, as well as a beautiful, precious 3 year old granddaughter, and a dog and two cats, who rule the domain.
Kimberly Perry is our Administrative Assistant.
Kimberly Perry joined the DMB El Rancho San Benito Team in August of 2007. She is our Administrative Assistant and comes to us with 12+ years of experience in the banking and escrow/title industry. Kim is a life-long resident of San Benito County and lives in Hollister with her husband Richard and their two beautiful children Ali and Ricky. When not at work Kim enjoys spending time with her family and their two dogs.
